Paracuru, like the rest of the Ceara region, has a great many beaches which are ideal for tourism. Paracuru, Jericoacoara, and Fortaleza are some of the best beaches in this region. They are beaches with fine, golden sands, some of which have ideal wind conditions for practicing windsurfing and kitesurfing, diving and other activities and sports related to the sea.
Among the most beautiful natural beaches in the area is the one in Paracuru itself, as well as those at Pera Redonda, Barra do Rio Curu, Lago de Joao Rola, and Pericoara.
Paracuru beach is considered one of the ten most beautiful beaches in Brazil. It is 20 kilometres long and is home to large palmtrees, dunes, zones with beachbars and services, zones with freshwater natural lakes, and above all it has lovely warm waters to bathe in.
One of the prettiest beaches here is the Playa de Pedra Rachada, an idyllic desert beach surrounded by dunes and vegetation. Its waters are warm and still, its palm trees provide shade from the sun, and it is the ideal place to take children.
All the beaches in this part of the world are amazing. A good example is Jericoacoara, with its golden sands, dunes, and beautiful natural surroundings, the ideal beach to visit and enjoy while you are on holiday in the area.
The beautiful and simple wild nature of the North East, with its turquoise and green sea, and clean, transparent waters, will take your breath away. Go for a ride on a wooden raft known as a “jangada”; dance to the popular local music “forró”, and enjoy some of the best sea food in the world.
The coastline of Paracuru has about 20 beaches. Some of the best ones are Vapor, Pedra Rachada, Buraco, Bica, Pedra Redonda, Barra, ALmas, Havaizinho and Coqueirinho. |
